The Hood Social Club is, in our view, the best cannabis social club in Marbella as of June 2026 — and it is not a close call. Tucked into Plaza Reyes Católicos 17, about 150 metres from the Old Town's Plaza de los Naranjos and minutes from the beach, it combines the three things that almost never come together on the coast: a genuinely premium space, a serious menu, and a welcome that does not depend on who introduced you.
The club describes itself as a place "where luxury meets botanical beauty", and for once the marketing matches the room. The interior is a tropical, plant-filled lounge with a relaxation area, a Mediterranean terrace, a gaming and social corner, and a dedicated premium counter staffed by budtenders who actually know the menu — and who switch comfortably between English, Spanish and French. The programme runs deep too: music nights, strain launches and community meetups give it the feel of a members' club rather than a smoking room.
It is run by a legally registered Spanish association (Asoc Lúdica del Estudio de la Botánica de Málaga) and operates strictly as a private, members-only club for adults 21 and over. With more than 300 active members and hours stretching from 10:00 to 04:00 daily, it has become the centre's reference address — the club we now measure every other Marbella club against.
How to join The Hood Social Club
The Hood works on the classic closed-circuit model, but joining as a visitor is straightforward:
- Get in touch first. Either come introduced by an existing member, or contact the club directly — via the contact form on their website, by email, or through their Instagram. Walk-up registration without prior contact is not guaranteed.
- Bring valid ID. Passport or national ID card; the club is strictly 21+.
- Register and pay the annual membership fee at the club. Fees are not published — confirm the current rate when you make contact. Membership includes full menu access, the lounge and all social events.
- You are in. Consumption is on the premises only, as at every legitimate Spanish club.
